Tech Hub Opens in Port Harcourt to Support Local Innovators

A new technology innovation hub opened its doors in Port Harcourt this week, offering co-working space, mentorship, and seed funding

A new technology innovation hub opened its doors in Port Harcourt this week, offering co-working space, mentorship, and seed funding opportunities for early-stage startups in the Niger Delta region.

The hub is backed by a mix of private investors and development partners who say the region has been underserved by the startup ecosystem compared to Lagos and Abuja.

“Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t. We’re here to close that gap,” the hub’s programme director said at the opening.

The facility will host its first cohort of ten startups beginning next month, with a focus on fintech, logistics, and clean energy ventures.
