A week-long cultural festival celebrating traditional heritage kicked off this week, featuring masquerade displays, drumming competitions, and craft exhibitions that drew visitors from across the country and abroad.

Organisers say the festival plays an important role in preserving traditions for younger generations who may otherwise lose touch with their cultural roots amid rapid urbanisation.
